Sonja Stiller, MD has more training in her field than any physician in Northeast Ohio, and unlike other doctors who treat venous disease part-time, her practice is 100% dedicated to it.
Your first visit to the vein doctor
Most people who suffer from symptoms of varicose veins wonder exactly what will happen during their first appointment.
Here’s what you can expect:
- When you visit us for the first time, you will quickly discover that you are treated like a person, not a number. You’ll likely meet with Nicole, who will take photos and measurements of your legs.
- Next, Stacy may do a quick scan of the veins in your legs. She will be examining the larger veins deeper in your legs to look for any underlying problems. The scan is painless and usually takes less than five minutes.
- Next, you will see Dr. Stiller to review your quick scan. She will also review your medical history, your current symptoms and family history. It all plays a role.
At our practice, we take things a step further.
We are interested in your overall health, not just your venous health. Yes, we’ll discuss next steps for your veins, but we may also talk about weight loss and creative ideas to help get you mobile if needed. Healthy veins are a part of a larger system essential to your whole-body health. Everything is connected.
