Dr Malhotra is board certified to practice facial plastic surgery with more than two decades of experience in cosmetic surgery, body contouring and cosmetic laser treatments. She is the director of Enhanced Image Center, the Cleveland area’s premier medical facility for cosmetic enhancement since 1998. She is frequently approached by the news media as an expert in her field.
Enhanced Image Center practices patient-centered care. Here are some innovative treatments we are excited to present:
FaceTite ♦ AccuTite ♦ Morpheus 8
FaceTite, BodyTite and AccuTite use an innovative technique―Radio-Frequency
Assisted Lipolysis, or RFAL™ technology.
RFAL™ employs an FDA-approved device (the first of its kind) designed to offer more consistent results by heating dermal tissue from above and within (the sub-dermal) that melts fat and tightens skin simultaneously.
While other treatments use the radiofrequency energy, they heat dermal tissue from the top only.
By heating from above and within, RFAL™ promotes optimal tightening and may have more merit for advanced signs of aging.
Facial aging is a process we cannot avoid. However, it is a natural occurrence that we can now manage quite effectively using non-surgical modalities.
What Is FaceTite? FaceTite is a non-surgical, minimally-invasive procedure that allows men and women to target the destruction of fat cells while also affecting collagen for immediately tighter skin to look several years younger after a short office visit.
If you have considered a neck lift or mini-facelift, you may be interested in the single-visit radiofrequency treatment that achieves lasting results (5 years or longer).
Because it is not a surgical procedure, a number of potential complications are avoided. FaceTite is one of the safest protocols available today.
Side effects are minimal and diminish over a week’s time. Mild numbness is expected to dissipate over several weeks. Most patients are back to their normal work and social engagements within a few days.
“I have been looking at procedures for my lower face and neck, which seems to have fallen down. Options were either too extreme, or do not produce significant results. I was tired of going in for short term solutions. Embrace RF offered me a natural looking lift, to both my face and spirit. I am so grateful!” ~ Wendy, age 52
Full post-treatment care instructions are provided.
Some patients schedule laser skin resurfacing with skin-tightening treatments or combine it with surgical procedures (if needed) to obtain the most dramatic anti-aging effects.
AccuTite is the smallest contraction device in cosmetic medicine. And the newest of the three devices (AccuTite, FaceTite & Body Tite).
Hard to reach areas are now possible with pinpoint accuracy. Any areas with saggy skin or excess fat can be treated. Common areas for the face include the brows, periorbital region (around the eyes), nasolabial folds, lower face and neck.
Results can be seen immediately, with best results noticeable after 6 weeks and continuing up to 12 months.
“I like the idea that I’m able to have my face treated with results that improve over time. It is like I am winning against the aging process.” ~ Oksana
Regardless of age, most of us would like to look in the mirror and appreciate a healthy, glowing complexion and soft skin. Now, the development of numerous non-surgical modalities can slow the signs of aging, and even reverse them.
Morpheus 8 is a device that is designed to combine microneedling and radio frequency to achieve deep fractional remodeling by directing energy toward the adipose fat that is notorious for creating jowls, bra rolls, and more.
Ultimately, microneedling with radio frequency affects both the epidermis and the dermis for maximum results.
The Morpheus 8 is FDA approved. The provider can adjust the ultra-sharp microneedles to a depth of up to 4 millimeters, deeper than any other microneedling device to date.
A topical anesthetic is used to numb the superficial tissue. We also offer patients ProNox®. This self-delivery nitrous oxide system puts the power in your hands as you undergo the treatment of your choice. Read about ProNox® at the end of this article.
Ideal candidates wish to reduce the appearance of:
• Acne or acne scars
• Poor skin texture
• Sun damage
• Deep lines and creases
• Mild sagging or jowls
• Enlarged pores
• Stretch marks
Combining microneedling with radio frequency and other radio frequency treatments like FaceTite or Fractional may be ideal: 1. to promote younger-looking skin without injectables or surgery, 2. in achieving tighter, smoother skin but prefer to do so without surgery, and 3. for facelift maintenance.
Side effects of Morpheus 8 may include transient redness and swelling―some may experience temporary bruising. The microneedling may leave tiny points on the skin that crust and flake off. Mild tenderness or soreness may result and can be managed with over-the-counter pain medication.
Optimal results may be achieved in one treatment or through a series of treatments. We can make an accurate estimate during your consultation.
“My skin has not felt this firm since I was a single woman in my twenties. There was little to no discomfort and I was back to my normal activities the next day.” ~ J.S.
How will ProNox® keep me comfortable during these procedures?
ProNox® is an innovative analgesia system that involves the use of a patient- controlled, 50/50 combination of Nitrous oxide and oxygen to minimize anxiety and discomfort from a procedure under local anesthesia.
Nitrous oxide is a well known sedative (once called laughing gas) that calms the central nervous system, allowing patients to feel comfortable during necessary elective procedures.
This effect dissipates within 5 minutes. Due to this fast action, patients are not required to arrange transportation to and from their procedure appointment!
