SOME THOUGHTS by Pamela D. Kurt, Esq.
“Working my way through college and law school as a single mother after being divorced taught me a lot.”
“I wanted the law firm to give the neighborhood feel to the community and provide the ‘downtown’ services in a small firm setting.”
“I know I did what God wanted me to do. If it wasn’t for my faith, I would have never made it.”
“I think part of our responsibility to our clients is being honest, fair, and encouraging. Sometimes we may even say a prayer with them. Other times when we can’t help them; it gives us the opportunity to point them in the right direction.”
“It’s an honor to be able to help the number of people that we do.”
Pamela Kurt was born in Kileen, Texas on Fort Hood Army base. Her father, a Canadian born resident, was serving for the United States Army at the time.
Shortly thereafter, the young family returned to Northeast Ohio and settled in Jefferson, Ohio. Ms. Kurt grew up with grandparents who had a 125-acre farm and grandparents who owned car businesses. In elementary school, Ms. Kurt relocated to Saybrook, Ohio for the duration of her schooling. Her parents always supported her endeavors and academics. She graduated with Honors from Harbor High School.
“I know that I got the best of both worlds. I was shown that hard work and education are how to succeed.” ~ Pamela D. Kurt, Esq.
After being laid off from her full-time job, she returned to college to finish schooling for her career. She worked straight through, receiving her Associate’s Degree from Lakeland Community College, and her Bachelor’s, Master’s and her Juris Doctorate Degrees (all with honors) from Cleveland State University.
