Laser Brown Spot Removal
GentleLase (Alexandrite) or VBeam Perfecta (pulsed dye) laser spot removal safely and very effectively corrects age spots, liver spots, freckles and freckle-like spots as well as red spots of all types and sizes.
The laser creates a beam of high intensity light that penetrates deep into skin tissue where it is absorbed by melanin or hemoglobin depending on the type of spot, thereby breaking it up.
During an office visit, a physician will guide the laser to the treatment area with a small hand-held probe. Each laser pulse may or may not be preceded by a short pulse of cooling spray depending on the type of spot.
Most people get a great response with one treatment. Some may require an additional treatment.
Patients scheduled for laser spot removal should expect a darker spot/discoloration after treatment. After several days, a crust will form and fall off within one week.
It is recommended to avoid sun exposure before and throughout treatment to maximize results. A sunblock of 30 spf or higher should be worn daily during this time.

Laser Rosacea Treatment
Face & Neck
V Beam Perfecta Laser Rosacea treatment is a revolutionary method of reducing and eliminating the diffuse redness and small blood vessels of rosacea. Rosacea may begin as a tendency to flush or blush easily and progress to persistent redness in the center of the face that may gradually involve cheeks, forehead, chin and nose. As the disease progresses, small blood vessels and tiny red bumps begin to appear on or around the reddened area.
When it first develops, Rosacea may come and go on its own. When the skin does not return to its normal color and other symptoms such as red bumps and enlarged vessels become visible, it is best to seek treatment with topical gels, oral antibiotics and/or laser treatment.
Laser treatment for this is very similar to Laser vein treatment except in addition to tracing blood vessels; a second pass is done with the laser to treat the diffuse redness.
Most people love the results of laser rosacea treatment. Ongoing, preventative treatment with topical gels and avoidance of triggers is advised.
It is recommended to avoid sun exposure before and throughout treatment to maximize results. A sunblock of 30 spf or higher should be worn daily during this time.
