It’s “celebration” season. Weddings, graduations, long awaited tropical vacations, pool parties, barbeques are all part of summer. This year, look your best for that special day, or just “because.” Because it makes you feel good. Because you deserve a treat. Because it is time to be more vibrant. At Northcoast Laser Cosmetics, we can help you fulfill your “because” with both permanent makeup, and microblading, the new, smoking hot semi-permanent trend in eyebrow shaping.
If you have tired thin, haphazard eyebrows, microblading has your name on it. This semi-permanent treatment is on the “most wanted” list for those with sparse, uneven, over tweezed or imperfect eyebrows. That includes most of us!
Here is how it works: First, our licensed Master Esthetician, Lacy, “draws in” your perfect brows to give her a template from which to work. This takes time and TLC to achieve a perfectly shaped brow, and is approved by our patient before moving forward. Two topical numbing creams are applied to make the procedure comfortable. Then, with a microblading tool, tiny superficial cuts are made, and eyebrow pigment, in the ideal shade to match brows, is deposited into the skin. Lacy meticulously makes strokes, one by one, to mimic the appearance of individual hairs. The final product looks lush, sexy and natural, and lasts approximately one year. That’s it!
A person leaves our office with a look that is “ready to go!” Best of all, there is no daily maintenance—those gorgeous new eyebrows won’t rub off, sweat off or fall out! You just wake up looking gorgeous, and stay that way, all day. Two initial treatments, approximately four weeks apart, are needed for optimal results, with just yearly touch-ups to maintain color.
I guess you could call Lacy our “Princess of Pigment.” She is also specially trained in permanent makeup for the eyebrows, as well as eyeliner. Imagine waking up and looking in the mirror, carefree and ready to GO. Great brows and eyeliner already applied. Lacy also has advanced training in areola restoration and medical camouflage as permanent makeup options for our patients, so she can also assist when medical needs propel the need for highly specialized procedures.
It’s the time of year to celebrate your good look, no matter what you’re doing—diving in the pool, attending a major family event, or just going about your daily routine! Permanent and semi-permanent makeup techniques are not a “pigment” of your imagination! They can make a real difference in your day-to-day appearance. We’d love to talk with you about them.
