ALL about Your Legs: they deserve better because …YOU DESERVE BETTER!
Heavy, swollen legs? Restless legs? Leg cramps? Recurrent leg ulcers or cellulitis?
What do these conditions have in common? Varicose Veins
Most of us know varicose veins as large ropy bulging veins that are unsightly, but the truth is they are more than that. Varicose veins cause all the above medical conditions and more. Varicose veins happen when the veins malfunction. The veins on our legs are designed to carry the poor blood back to the heart, lungs, and kidneys to refresh. When they malfunction, the poor blood pulls in legs and cause several symptoms.
Varicose Veins symptoms include…
- Heaviness and legs getting easily tired
- Swelling may occur and it can get worse over time
- Lower leg skin may start getting darker, and
- Skin can eventually become so unhealthy that it breaks down causing leg ulcers
Do you remember what it was like before the symptoms? Imagine your legs without the fatigue, without the swelling, without the discoloring….
Majority of recurrent or non-healing leg ulcers are caused by varicose veins. Problem is, often the actual varicose veins may not be readily visible (hidden below skin surface or covered by swelling).
The best way to evaluate such leg symptoms is a comprehensive venous ultrasound. Once the ultrasound confirms the presence of varicose veins, a treatment plan may be made….
IF YOU SUFFER FROM ANY OF THE ABOVE SYMPTOMS, SCHEDULE YOUR VENOUS ULTRASOUND TODAY.
