I have been in the health field for almost 25 years. I focus on the whole person to get them well as soon as possible utilizing gentle upper cervical chiropractic, nutrition, ortho-bionomy, and applied kinesiology. I currently practice and have recently started teaching QSM3 (Quantum Spinal Mechanics³) which is an offshoot of NUCCA (National Upper Cervical Chiropractic Association).

How would you like to come home at the end of the day full of energy and excitement? What about taking on that exercise routine that you have postponed because of a neck or back pain? Imagine being able to sleep well and wake up refreshed. Seeing yourself flowing through the day with ease, doing what you want, not dictated by how you will feel later. To be able to shop or go for a walk and feel refreshed and energized afterwards?
The truth is—millions of people are suffering unnecessarily.
Chronic pain can greatly affect our outlook on life. We are grouchy when we are in pain. We are irritated when we feel uncomfortable. The opposite is also true: when we feel rested and at ease, we are at peace with the world. When our spine is twisted up, we are fighting with ourselves, using more energy than necessary just to function properly. All too often life becomes a struggle to do things. It doesn’t have to be so.
The key lies with a tiny two ounce bone called the atlas. Atlas in Greek mythology is the god who holds the globe on his shoulders. This bone, sitting at the base of the skull, holds the head on its shoulders. When we have an accident or injury, ligaments holding this bone in place tear, causing the atlas to slip out of position. This can cause extra wear and tear and degeneration to occur as well as irritating the spinal cord so that clear signals cannot get through. As a result, many back muscles go weak, and the strong muscles we do have, work harder trying to hold things together.
One of the most common reasons for people to see me, is their fear of aging. They see the problems that they are having now and ask, “If I am like this now, what will it be like five, ten, twenty years from now?” Fifty year old women come and say that they feel like they’re eighty. The sad truth is that they feel worse than many eighty year olds do.
There is a common myth that more pain must come with age: as we age, we must feel worse. We believe that arthritis is inevitable. It sets in, then spreads, and it’s downhill from there. Just because it is true for many around us, does not mean it has to be true. What would you say if I told you that many of my patients feel better than they have in years? Personally, after my first upper cervical adjustment I was able to do more things, and I felt better than I had ten years before.
One of the main goals I have with all of my clients is to increase their quality of life. I may not be able to get rid of all their pain, but I can help them reduce pain, increase strength and stamina, and improve energy and comfort. My goal is to get patients to redefine what is normal.
“My arms and legs are much stronger…No headaches, fatigue or knee pain.” Stephanie Griffith.
“What I find refreshing is your honest, up-front, and kind ‘bedside’ manner.” Barbara O.
“I feel like a new person. I can have a life with much less, or no pain!” Gail Kaplin
“After that first adjustment, my arms hummed to life. This was great! My body, after more than a decade, began to awaken.” Lisa McNelley
“The most dramatic change I noticed was the almost complete cessation of any kind of headache from the time of my first treatment. How wonderful.” Elizabeth Claypool
I help people with a procedure called QSM3. It is an upper cervical chiropractic procedure. There are so few upper cervical chiropractors that less than 1% of Ohioans have received this type of care.
Since upper cervical chiropractic procedures affect the central nervous system—it can have a profound effect on every part of the body. People coming in for neck and back pain tell me that their blood pressure, digestion, and breathing are better. People with headaches say that not only are their headaches diminished or gone, but so is their sinus congestion, and the need to make several trips to the bathroom in the night.
I work hard to keep my services affordable. We offer payment plans and will help you get reimbursed from your insurance company. Medicare will also pay for a portion of care. It may seem expensive, but think about how much you spent on your car in the last year. My fees and more information can be found at www.spinalalignment.com.
So call now to set up your first visit or consultation. During that first visit we will go over your history and do an exam and x-rays to make sure you will benefit from my services. Call us at 440-461-9774.
