GentleLase (Alexandrite) and GentleYag (Ng/YAG) Laser Hair Removal safely and effectively removes unwanted hair from the face and body. The laser creates a beam of high intensity light that penetrates deep into skin tissue where it is absorbed by the melanin in the hair follicle effectively shutting it down.
During an office visit, a physician will guide the laser to the treatment
area with a small hand-held probe. Each laser pulse treats a dime-size area of hair, preceded by a short pulse of cooling spray.
Most people require 3–5 treatments, 4–8 weeks apart, as the process is only effective when the hair follicle is in its active growth phase.
Patients scheduled for hair removal should avoid plucking, waxing, depilatory creams or electrolysis for six weeks prior to treatment. Trimming or shaving the hair is allowed and expected. It is recommended to avoid sun exposure before and throughout treatment to maximize results. Sunblock of 30 spf or higher should be worn during this time.

VBeam Perfecta (Pulsed Dye) and Gentle YAG (Nd/YAG) laser vein treatment safely and very effectively treats unwanted veins from face and legs.
The laser creates a beam of high intensity light that penetrates deep into skin tissue where it is absorbed by hemoglobin in the blood vessels effectively “erasing” the vein.
During an office visit, a physician will guide the laser to the treatment area with a small hand-held probe. Each laser pulse will move along a blood vessel, tracing it. This will be preceded by a short pulse of cooling spray.
Most people average 75% clearing of purple spider veins with one treatment! Larger, blue-green veins and matting require more treatments.
Patients scheduled for leg vein treatment should plan to wear pantyhose for three days following treatment. It is recommended to avoid sun exposure before and throughout treatment to maximize results. A sunblock of 30 spf or higher should be worn daily during this time.
