Radio frequency (RF) skin tightening is our newest technology at Northcoast Laser Cosmetics, and its many uses make it so versatile. We’ve actually been using this method for a year now, but so many of our patients and the public have still never heard of it.
The radio frequency (RF) treatments we use are both uni-polar and bi-polar. The bi-polar energy radiates between two different areas, or poles, and helps treat the more superficial layers of skin. This improves wrinkles, fine lines and skin laxity, both on the face and the body.
The unipolar RF works on deeper layers of the skin. The treatment allows blood flow to improve, strengthens the skin and improves texture. This method of deep dermal heating is also effective in draining retained fluid in the fatty layer, thus helping with both facial and body contouring. In the body, it results in a slimming effect.
Radio frequency can be used on so many beauty issues, it almost doesn’t seem fair to add another weapon, but we do—because we can!
When combined with platelet rich plasma (PRP) our Pixel RF beauty treatment is further intensified. We perform a simple blood draw on our patient, then spin down the blood into plasma. It is a golden color, and we actually call it “liquid gold” because it has many beauty rich properties! Platelet rich plasma stimulates cell growth with a person’s own natural substances. This plasma is then placed on the skin after the Pixel RF treatment. Our patients love it, because it is their own cells that are being used to look more youthful. Our October 21st event, Hot! Hot! Hot!, was nothing short of smoking!
A full house of attendees enjoyed trendy food and drink served up by local firefighters, and saw our doctors and beauty professionals discuss and demonstrate our latest beauty procedures. We raffled off unbelievable beauty and lifestyle gift baskets, and our grand prizes included $1000 and $500 certificates for Northcoast Laser Procedures. Plus, we were raised $2000 to donate to Make a Wish Foundation!
